Somatic Circle Community
A gently guided somatic gathering for grounding, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence.
WHAT IS SOMATIC CIRCLE?
Somatic Circle is a live, guided somatic experience held in community.
Each session offers simple, accessible practices that support nervous system regulation, body awareness, and a felt sense of grounding—especially for those who carry stress, tension, or emotional weight in the body.
The space is facilitated by a psychiatric nurse practitioner and yoga teacher and is intentionally non-clinical in nature. There is no expectation to share verbally, explain yourself, or engage in emotional processing.
You are invited to simply arrive and be with your body as it is.
-
This is:
A facilitated somatic experience
Guided breathwork and body-based practices
Nervous system–aware grounding and regulation
A supportive, community-based space
Drop-in friendly with no long-term commitment
This is not:
Psychotherapy or group therapy
Trauma processing or emotional disclosure
Medical or psychiatric treatment
A replacement for individual therapy or clinical care
Somatic Circle exists outside of formal treatment, while being thoughtfully informed by nervous system awareness and embodied practice.
-
Somatic Circle may be supportive if you:
Feel chronically overwhelmed, tense, or “on edge”
Notice stress showing up physically (jaw, shoulders, chest, gut)
Want support without needing to talk things through
Are curious about somatic practices but prefer gentle guidance
Crave a consistent ritual of grounding and connection
Want community without pressure to share or perform
No prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or somatic practices is required.
-
Each Somatic Circle includes:
Arrival and orienting to the space
Guided breath and grounding practices
Gentle, optional movement or body awareness
Quiet time for integration and closing
You are always in control of your body and participation.
You may sit, lie down or modify practices at any time.Listening to your body is the practice.
