Our Philosophy

The wellness branch of Oliphant Holistic Health & Wellness

MindfuLL RooTs is the wellness arm of OHHW — a quiet extension of holistic care that honors the connection between body, breath, and nervous system. Here, movement and mindfulness meet you exactly where you are.

Our approach is trauma-informed and somatically rooted. We don’t ask you to perform, fix, or push through. Instead, we invite gentle integration — small, steady practices that help your system feel safe enough to soften.

  • Nervous system awareness at the center of every practice
  • Somatic, body-led movement — not performative
  • Gentle integration, paced to your window of tolerance
  • No prior yoga experience needed — all levels welcome

Katie, YIN and Restorative teacher — smiling woman with auburn hair and blue eyes

Katie

YIN · Restorative

Katie began her yoga journey in 2018, where she quickly developed a deep appreciation for both the practice and the welcoming community at her hometown studio. As her passion for yoga grew, so did her commitment to deepening her knowledge of its physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Through her own experience, Katie has come to believe that yoga is for everyone and that every individual can benefit from incorporating some form of the practice into their life.

In 2023, Katie completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training under the guidance of Sallie Rivers (E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500), with the goal of sharing her love of yoga and creating an inclusive, supportive space for others. She continued her education by earning her Restorative Yoga Teacher Certification in December 2025 under the guidance of Denver Clark (C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP, LMT MA#89197).

Katie specializes in Restorative Yoga, offering gentle, accessible classes that welcome practitioners of all experience levels. She enjoys beginning each session with intentional breathwork to help students settle into the present moment before guiding them through mindful movement designed to cultivate awareness, relaxation, and a deeper connection between body and mind.

Known for her warm, encouraging teaching style and lighthearted approach, Katie strives to create classes that are both meaningful and enjoyable. She believes yoga should leave students feeling grounded, refreshed, and empowered—and often reminds them with a smile, ‘You can’t take life too seriously—it’s just yoga.’

Jessica

YIN · Gentle Hatha

My yoga journey began in 2017 after going to a Restorative class that gently led me toward a transformative period in my life. I was comforted and strengthened by the healing qualities I discovered in yoga. Something stirred deep within and I was inspired. I felt encouraged and supported to become a yoga teacher and share the beautiful benefits with others.

In December 2023 I completed my RYT-200 training at The Yoga House Brandon under the guidance of Sallie Rivers. I began teaching in January 2024. I have extended training in Restorative and Aerial yoga, and I am currently completing an 80-hour Yin Yoga certification.

Through the practices of conscious breathing, mindful movement, meditation, and integration of yogic philosophy, I strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment. My intention is to hold space for you, allowing you to connect deeply with your own inner wisdom. I hope to foster growth in your confidence, encouraging you to recognize and embrace that you are enough—just as you are, in mind, body, and spirit.

Well known yoga teacher, Maty Ezraty, said it best, “Keep in mind that, when you practice yoga, you’re not practicing to improve yourself. You are perfect. The practice is there to help you know that.” Those words land. It will be my honor to meet you on the mat.

With Light & Love ~ Jessica

Erica, Gentle Hatha with Sound Bath teacher — smiling woman with dreadlocks and a moonstone pendant

Erica

Gentle Hatha with Sound Bath

Erica is a 200hr registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Her own practice of yoga began in high school and expanded through college as a way to manage anxiety, chronic stress, and back pain. Erica draws from her love of breath connection, mindfulness, and gentle stretching to create meaningful and intentional sequences that leave students from all walks of life feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to take on the day.

With a background in mental health counseling, Erica values the mental and emotional impacts of practicing yoga, and has experienced the benefits herself. She enjoys incorporating meditation to help settle the body and mind, as well as somatic movement practices to aid in releasing stored tension and stress. As a trauma sensitive sound healing facilitator, she also enjoys incorporating the healing properties of crystal singing bowls throughout restorative practices and in savasana.
